State-controlled JSB Ukrgasbank has refinanced 70% of the cost of the 10.7-MW Nikopol solar power plant that was built by TIU Canada in the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine.

The Canadian investor has spent a total of EUR 10.5 million (USD 12.4m) on the construction of the facility, which is its first in the country. The solar park consists of some 32,000 photovoltaic (PV) modules, installed on the territory of the Nikopol ferro-alloys factory. Its commissioning was unveiled in January 2018.
